can ultimately do irreparable damage I think that statement is over the top. Young children are very resilient and I doubt this decision one way or the other will cause irreparable damage. Statements like that only serve to raise a parent's anxiety.

I would prefer 10 guilty people to go free rather than 1 innocent person put into jail. I would prefer 10 kids die from a disease rather than 1 healthy kid die to prevent the disease. While the math may be simple, the issue is way more complex. Don't get lost in the numbers when lives are at stake.

400 kids in the study seems too small. I read over the actual study results. The purpose of the study was to make a connection between dogs in the house and healthier kids. This was conducted by subjects filling in a weekly survey.
